Just plain cute

Jude+Stet

Jude and Stetson are still pretty oblivious to each other, but we like to pretend they are already best buds.  Here are a couple of super cute pics.  We did not pose them to hold hands...they're just that sweet.  The other one was taken at our weekly coffee girls when they were checking each other out.  Most of the time they just ignore each other.

Mountain Man

We had a weekend off so we decided to take Jude up to see the mountains and some of our favorite people in the world...Jerry and Sherry Sapp.  The leaves were gorgeous and we had so much fun up in Brevard.  Jude doesn't like the to have the sun in his eyes at all so it was hard to get him to look at us while were trying to take his picture at the waterfalls.  He loves to be carried over John Mark's shoulder...he laughs so hard.  I guess he feels like he's on top of the world.

Jude and John Mark were catching up on their beauty sleep.  I couldn't resist snapping a pic.  I got a king size bed for my birthday so the whole fam could pile in.  Although we won't be letting Jude sleep in our bed at night...he is a loud sleeper.  But praise the Lord he's been sleeping 12 hours a night for about 2 months now.  It's wonderful!

John Mark and I went to England at the first of October and Jude got to hang out with Mimi and Granddaddy Coogan for about a week.  Our friends in England sent us back with this adorable little bear outfit.  We walked to the grocery store when he had it on the other day and every lady in the grocery store went crazy over Jude.  He loves the attention.  He smiles at everybody and all the cashiers think they are so special.

Family Time

We had a birthday dinner for Stephen while Jude and I went home for a visit.  Maybe in a few years Uncle Stephen can teach Jude some Johnny Cash songs.

Happy to be home

I took this pic while waiting for John Mark to bring the car around at the airport. To have been traveling all day, Jude sure was a happy little guy.

Garden of the gods

We took our team to see the Garden of the gods while we were in Colorado Springs. They are huge red/orange rock formations that are amazingly beautiful. It was a pretty chilly, but Jude was so cute in his little hoodie.

Sleepy heads

This is Jude's first night in a hotel. He got his own bed and his daddy was pretty jealous. Just didn't seem right for such a little fella to have such a big bed. I put Jude in the bed with John Mark to wake him up.

World Traveler

We took Jude on his first plane flight to Colorado Springs. He did so great. He slept the whole way pretty much. He really is a great baby and I loved having the company. The boys that we travel with seemed to like having him around too.

Just hanging out

Jude is smiling all the time now and starting to sleep through the night (fingers crossed). He usually only has a major breakdown when we take his bottle out of his mouth to burp him...he really hates that part. He is making the most adorable sounds too...so sweet!

Maverick and Elliot were both born the same week as Jude. There's going to be plenty of mischief to go around in about 3 or 4 years.

Park Date

John Mark, Jude, and I had a date at Freedom Park.  We had a great time until it decided to pour and we had to pack up camp.  

 

Treasure

Yesterday Jude smiled at me when I started singing to him my song "treasure".  Talk about breaking your mama's heart.  I couldn't grab the camera fast enough!

The Great Grand Day!

Today Donna and I took Jude up to meet his great-grand parents on John Mark's side of the family.  We first stopped off in Mooresville to see Granny and Papaw Wilson.  Jude actually gets his cowlick swirl from Papaw.  They loved meeting him and I'm pretty sure Jude felt the same way.  Granny made Jude a beautiful baby quilt, which Jude is laying on in Papaw's lap.

Then we drove just a little ways to Davidson for Jude to meet Robin's Mama, Lila McMillan.  Jude and Grandma took to each other right away.  She lit up when she held him and kept saying what a special treat it was to see him.

The Homestead

We took Jude down to Vidalia to meet the whole Williams clan and all our other great friends down there.  He was a hit as you can imagine.                                                    We even had a cook out in his honor (kind of).  Grandma still had the magic touch...rocked Jude to sleep in a matter of minutes several times.

Daddy's Boy

I think Jude has John Mark wrapped around his teeny weeny little finger (which looks just like his daddy's by the way).  It's a wonderful thing.  We took Jude out for his first cappuccino for my birthday brunch.  If he's anything like his daddy and mama, he will love a good cap.

Bath Time!

Jude hated his first bath... even if Mimi was giving it.  He didn't care for his second or third bath either.  He is starting to chill out a little now, but he's still not too sure about this naked thing.  His Daddy assures him he will enjoy it someday.  He sure does look cute in his lion towel that his aunt molly gave him though.
